A Day in the life of Louie

Meet Louie. Louie is a 3 year-old Miniature Daschund who lives alone with his owner, Brenda. Brenda is a 27 year-old business woman who leaves early for work and often doesn’t arrive home until later at night. Because Brenda is gone so long during the day, Louie has to find other things to do to entertain himself. His hobbies include sleeping, eating, playing in the backyard, and chasing his toys. He also enjoys tearing apart kleenex boxes and toliet paper rolls when feeling slightly mischievous.

Louie wakes up each morning to the smell of Brenda's breakfast cooking. When he finally rolls out of bed, he's gotten up just in time for the corners of Brenda’s toast. He then gets taken for a morning jog around the park, where he gets to fraternize with the other neighborhood dogs.  When Louie and Brenda arrive back home, Brenda takes a shower and Louie goes back to bed for another quick snooze. He gets up and spends some time playing with his all time favourite toy, the teaser ball. This toy is basically a ball within a ball, which causes the toy to move sporadically and keeping Louie guessing! By the time he’s done with his teaser ball, it’s time to see Brenda off.

Soon enough, Louie is woken up to the sounds of Brenda’s car door shutting. She comes in the house and Louie is happy to see her home! He greets Brenda at the door, helps her take off her shoes, and then heads off back to bed. Brenda changes out of work clothes, takes a quick shower, and finds Louie fast asleep. Brenda wonders how Louie ever got by sleeping on a pillow when he could have had this beautiful and comfortable retro pet bed!
