Pet Furniture - A Spot of Their Own

How many times has the following happened?  You have just gotten dressed up to attend one important event or another.  Arriving at the event, the bright lights shine on your outfit and you realize you have more hair on you than your dog and cat has fur.   You end up spending the evening in the shadows, hoping nobody notices.  This scene could have been prevented if your furry family members had their own pet furniture.

Cats and dogs love couches chairs and beds.  Let’s face it; floors aren’t all that comfortable after a while.  By giving your cat or dog pet furniture of their very own, they will no longer have the need to use your human furniture for a soft sleeping spot.  Pet furniture is at their height level and they will soon begin to see it as their special place.

Pet furniture comes in every shape, size and material available. You can provide something as simple as a padded mat for your furry friend, or something as elaborate as a mini-couch of its very own.  Color choices are also available to match any décor so that you do not have to worry about whether or not the pet furniture will enhance your present home furnishings.

Whatever personality your pet, there is pet furniture to appeal to him or her.  If your dog likes to be out in the open, interacting with the family, you can purchase an oversized pillow that he can plop down on and watch everything.  If your cat prefers hiding in the dark, provide her with a den-like piece of pet furniture that she can go into and feel safe.  Materials used in making pet furniture are durable and often stain-resistant.  The materials available are also so varied that each of your pets can have the material they prefer.  Many pieces of pet furniture come with removable covers you can toss in the washer and dryer to clean and freshen.

Once you have provided your furry friends with their own special pet furniture, you will find they will prefer it to your couch, chair or bed—okay, maybe not your bed—and you will no longer find yourself arriving places with fur covered clothing. You will be happy, your cat and dog will be happy and the corner shadows will be freed up for those who have yet to discover pet furniture.
