Effipro duo is an innovative topical treatment for dogs that get rid of irritating fleas and ticks for a month. The solution prevents development of adult fleas for 12 weeks after application. It also provides efficacy for 2 weeks against Ixodes Ricinus and for 4 weeks against Dermacentor Reticulatus and Rhipicephalus Sanguineus. It eliminates most of parasites within 48 hours of application.
Effipro Duo Spot-On for Dogs
Effipro duo spot-on treatment consists of 2 active ingredients – fipronil and pyriproxyfen. Fipronil is an effective adulticide whereas pyriproxyfen is a potent insect growth regulator. Fipronil efficiently disrupts the functioning of nerve cells in the fleas, paralyzing and thus, eliminating them. Pyroproxyfen effectively regulates the development of new fleas by preventing their multiplication, thus breaking off the flea life cycle. Effipro duo spot-on prevents flea and tick re-infestations as well.
I rarely give tablets to my dog, so I'm so glad that I was able to find this topical treatment for that is not only highly effective but also has no side effects.
