Bravecto Topical for Dogs: Long-lasting Flea and Tick Treatment

Give your dog long-lasting protection against fleas and ticks with Bravecto Topical for Dogs. One dose of this treatment gives up to 12 weeks of parasite protection to your dog. It is suitable for use in dogs and puppies aged 6 months and above, and weighing at least 4.4 lbs.

This fluralaner solution comes in a twist-and-use applicator for easy and mess-free application. When used as directed, this water-resistant topical treatment stays effective even after swimming or bathing your dog. It is a convenient option for dogs that are picky eaters and do not like oral treatments.

Why choose Bravecto Topical for Dogs?

You may begin your dog’s treatment with Bravecto Topical at any time of the year, and can continue year round for their uninterrupted parasite protection. When used as recommended, this topical treatment kills adult fleas, treats and prevents flea infestations, and treats and controls tick infestations caused by black-legged ticks, American dog ticks, and brown dog ticks for 12 weeks.

This dog flea and tick treatment also treats and controls lone star tick infestations for 8 weeks.

Bravecto Topical: Up to 3-month flea and tick protection

Bravecto Topical for Dogs contains fluralaner as an active ingredient. When fleas and ticks bite your dog, they ingest fluralaner, which attacks the nervous system of parasites, causing paralysis and death in them.

Usage Directions For Bravecto Topical
  • Bravecto Topical for Dogs is available in easily identifiable, color-coded, five different packs for weight-appropriate dosage in dogs of different sizes. Check your dog’s weight and get the pack that is appropriate for their bodyweight.
  • Immediately before use, open the pouch and remove the Bravecto tube.
  • Put on gloves.
  • Hold the tube at the crimped end with its cap in an upright position (tip up).
  • Rotate the cap clockwise or counterclockwise one full turn. Do not remove the cap, as it is designed to stay on the tube for dosing.
  • When you feel the breaking of the seal, the tube is open and ready for application.
  • Make your dog stand or lie with their back horizontal during application.
  • Part the fur at the administration site. Place the tip of the tube vertically against the skin between your dog’s shoulder blades.
  • Squeeze the tube and gently apply the product in one or more spots, starting between the shoulder blades and continuing along your dog’s back.
  • Avoid applying an excessive amount of solution in any one spot, as it may cause some solution to run or drip off your pet.
  • Avoid bathing your dog or their water immersion for 3 days after application to maintain the effectiveness of the product.
