Frontline Combo also known as Frontline Plus is a popular flea and tick treatment for cats. The topical spot-on kills adult fleas within 24 hours of administration and restricts growth of flea population. It breaks flea life cycle by restricting the growth of flea eggs and larvae. The easy to administer spot-on eliminates varies species of ticks including American dog tick and biting lice. Frontline Plus (Combo) is waterproof and thus remains effective even when your cat goes swimming, outside in rain or is bathed. Monthly treatment with Frontline Plus (Combo) offers continuous protection against fleas and ticks. The topical solution is suitable to use for cats and kittens from 8 weeks of age.
Frontline Plus (Combo) for Cats
Frontline Plus (Combo) is a widely used flea and tick preventive for cats. It contains two powerful ingredients – fipronil – an adulticide and (s)-Methoprone – an insect grow regulator. The adulticide kills adult fleas and ticks before they lay eggs. The other ingredient – insect grow regulator inhibits the growth of flea eggs and larvae further controlling the recurring flea infestation. It protects cats against other flea and tick infested diseases including flea allergy dermatitis as well as controls biting lice infection.
