When used as directed, this monthly topical treatment:
Advantage Multi contains two active ingredients: Imidacloprid and moxidectin. On application, imidacloprid spreads over your cat’s skin and coat to kill fleas through contact, so they don’t have to bite your cat to die. Moxidectin is quickly absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream, where it prevents heartworm disease, and treats and controls internal parasites and ear mites.

It is therefore recommended to bathe your cat before applying Advantage Multi. Consult your veterinarian for further guidance.
The safe use of Advantage Multi has not been established in breeding, pregnant or lactating cats. Consult a veterinarian before using it in such pets.
At the discretion of a veterinarian, cats aged more than 6 months may be tested to determine the presence of existing heartworm infection before starting the treatment with Advantage Multi for Cats.
If you miss a dose and a 30-day interval between doses has exceeded, administer Advantage Multi for Cats immediately and resume the monthly dosing schedule.
When replacing another heartworm preventive product in a heartworm prevention program, the first treatment with Advantage Multi for Cats should be administered within one month of the last dose of the former preventive.

Get one dose applicator tube out of the package. Hold the tube upright and remove the cap.
Turn the cap over, push its other end onto the tube tip and twist the cap to break the seal. Remove the cap from the tube.
Make your cat stand in a comfortable position and part the hair on the back of their neck at the base of the head until the skin is visible.
Place the tube tip on the skin and apply the entire contents directly on the exposed skin. Lift the tube away from the skin & release the pressure on the tube.
Advantage Multi for Cats is available in easily identifiable different-colored packs, to provide weight-appropriate treatment and protection to cats.
