Bravecto chews contain fluralaner, a powerful ingredient that targets the nervous system of parasites, leading to paralysis and death. Once administered, it begins to kill fleas within two hours after administration and demonstrates high efficacy against adult fleas 48 hours post-infestation. Bravecto oral treatment also shows high efficacy against different species of ticks within 48-72 hours post-infestation.

In studies conducted by the manufacturer, no adverse reactions were observed in dogs from the concurrent use of Bravecto Chews with other medications, such as vaccines, anthelmintics, antibiotics, and steroids. Consult your veterinarian for further guidance.
Bravecto Chews should be given with food. If you break or crumble the chew for easy dosage, ensure your dog consumes the whole dose.
Bravecto Chew is not a topical treatment. Bathing or grooming does not have any impact on how a Bravecto Chew works.
Consult a veterinarian before giving Bravecto Chews to your breeding female dog.
If an otherwise healthy dog vomits within 3 hours of receiving Bravecto, re-dosing is recommended. To ensure that the dog does not vomit again, it is suggested to wait 24 hours until re-dosing.
If 4 or more hours have passed before the vomiting occurs, it is likely that Bravecto has been absorbed. If the vomiting repeats, do not give a third chew. Consult your veterinarian for further guidance.
In studies conducted by the manufacturer, Bravecto has a high margin of safety. No adverse effects are expected if your dog inadvertently gets treated twice with the recommended dose within 12 weeks. But it is advisable to consult your veterinarian.

Fleas and ticks are a year-round problem, even if your pet stays indoors most of the time. When you administer Bravecto once every 3 months, you ensure your dog is protected from fleas and ticks all year-round.
Bravecto Chew should be given with food. If a chew is broken and crumbled on food, ensure the dog finishes the food and receives the whole dose.
In the case of vomiting after dosing, check with your vet to see whether redosing is required.
In a healthy dog, redose if vomiting happens within 3 hours of administration. If a dog vomits after 4 or more hours after dosing, the treatment is likely absorbed and the pet is protected. If the dog vomits again, avoid administering a third dosage and talk to a vet.
