Bravecto Plus is an advanced flea and tick treatment for cats. It comes with additional protection against heartworm disease and gastrointestinal nematodes. It shields the cat from parasites for many weeks. The product eliminates all the fleas and ticks within 48 hours, and disrupts the eggs and larvae stages of flea and tick lifecycle thus, preventing further infestation in cats. Bravecto Plus is known for eliminating black-legged ticks, American dog ticks, as well as Asian longhorned ticks in cats. Apart from this, Bravecto Plus is also used as a treatment strategy for Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). Furthermore, this topical solution also kills juvenile heartworms (microfilaria) and prevents their maturation into adult heartworms, thereby protecting the cats from fatal heartworm disease for 8 weeks. Moreover, Bravecto Plus is an excellent intestinal worm treatment for felines as it kills roundworms and hookworms.
Bravecto Plus contains Fluralaner and Moxidectin which are potent ecto and endoparasiticides respectively. Fluralaner kills parasites like fleas and ticks that are present on the skin by causing hyperactivity in the nervous system. Moxidectin, on the other hand, kills hookworms, roundworms, and heartworms by interfering with the transmission of nerve signals, causing paralysis, which leads to the death of the parasite. With regular use of this powerful spot-on treatment, 100% parasitic egg counts can be reduced within a couple of weeks or so.
