Compared to Bravecto Topical Solution for Cats, Bravecto Plus contains an additional ingredient, i.e., moxidectin and as a result Bravecto Plus provides extra protection (other than fleas and ticks) against heartworm disease and common intestinal worms including roundworms and hookworms.
After administration, the formula is quickly absorbed into the cat's bloodstream and tissue fluids. As soon as fleas and ticks take the blood meal from the Bravecto Plus treated cat, the active ingredient fluralaner interrupts the neurotransmission of the parasites (fleas and ticks) and kills them.
