Usage Directions For Droncit Spot On

Check your cat’s weight to determine the appropriate dosage for them as per their bodyweight.
Remove one Droncit tube from the package.
Hold the tube in an upright position, and twist and pull off the cap.
Use the reversed cap to twist and remove the seal from the tube.
Make your cat stand in a comfortable position.
Part the hair on your cat’s neck, at the base of the skull, until the skin is visible.
Place the tube tip on the skin and squeeze firmly several times to empty the product contents directly onto the skin.
Application at the base of the skull minimizes the opportunity for your cat to lick this product.
If more than one pipette is needed, it is advised to perform the applications slowly, to allow the absorption and to minimize the possibility of run-off after application.
It is also advisable to allow the contents of the previous pipette to be absorbed before applying another.
It is recommended to take measures for flea (intermediate hosts of tapeworms) control, to reduce the chances of recurrence of tapeworm infestations.
Reapplication of Droncit Spot-on is recommended if the signs of tapeworm infestation reappear, or at monthly intervals.

Droncit Spot On Protective Measures

For animals:

For external use in cats only.
Do not use on cats weighing less than 2.2 lbs. (1 kg) bodyweight.
Do not let recently treated pets groom each other.
Avoid contact of this product with your cat’s eyes or mouth.
Do not stroke or groom your treated cat until the application area is dry (typically around 1 hour after application).
Read the entire label or consult a veterinarian, and use only as directed.

For humans:

Keep out of the reach of children.
It should not be administered by pregnant women or women suspected of being pregnant.
Women of childbearing age should wear protective equipment consisting of gloves while handling the product.
Wash your hands thoroughly after use.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke during the application of this product.
It can irritate the skin and eyes; avoid contact with them.
In case of contact with the skin, wash off any skin contamination with soap and water immediately and seek medical advice.
In case of accidental eye contact, flush the affected eyes thoroughly with clean, fresh water and seek immediate medical advice.
It may stain certain materials, including leather, fabrics, plastics, and finished surfaces. Let the application site dry before permitting contact with such materials.
