Frontline Plus for Cats: Monthly Flea and Tick Treatment

Frontline Plus is a convenient topical treatment widely used by pet parents to protect their cats against fleas and ticks. This long-lasting, waterproof formula (24 hours post-application) extends parasite protection for a full 30 days.

This vet-recommended flea and tick treatment kills parasites on contact, so no biting is required. It is suitable for cats and kittens aged 8 weeks and above, and weighing at least 1.5 lbs.

Why choose Frontline Plus for Cats?

When used as recommended, Frontline Plus spot-on treatment:

  • Kills fleas- including fleas which may cause flea allergy dermatitis, and flea eggs and flea larvae
  • Prevents all flea life stages (eggs, larvae, and pupae) from developing
  • Stops existing flea infestations and prevents the establishment of new infestations
  • Kills all life stages (larva, nymph, adult) of brown dog ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks, and deer ticks
  • Kills ticks that may transmit Lyme disease, haemobartonellosis, ehrlichiosis, babesiosis, anaplasmosis, and other tick-borne diseases
  • Rapidly eliminates chewing lice infestations

Frontline Plus for Cats: Fast-acting parasite treatment

Frontline Plus contains two active ingredients: Fipronil and (S)-methoprene. Both these ingredients spread from the single point of application and rapidly cover the cat’s entire coat. Frontline Plus localizes onto the skin and hair coat, where it keeps working continuously even if your cat gets wet. When fleas, ticks and chewing lice come into contact with the treated cat, they get killed. These nasty parasites do not have to bite your cat in order to die.
