Usage Directions For Nexgard Spectra

NexGard Spectra is available in five different packs for weight-appropriate dosage in dogs of different sizes. The packs are available in color-coded boxes for easy identification and convenient selection.
Check your dog’s weight and get the pack that is appropriate for your dog’s body weight.
Remove only one chewable at a time from the foil-backed blister card.
Give the chew directly into the mouth or with a small amount of food.
You may also offer this chew as a treat to your dog.
Ensure that your dog consumes the complete dose.
Observe your treated dog for a few minutes to ensure that a part of the dose is not lost or rejected.
If you suspect that any of the dose has been lost, treat your dog again with another full dose.
If you miss a dose, administer the chewable(s) appropriate for your dog’s weight and resume a monthly dosing regimen.
For optimal parasite control, treat your dog on or about the same day each month, irrespective of the number of days in the month.
Monthly treatment with this chew should continue throughout the year for your dog’s uninterrupted parasite protection.
To minimize the likelihood of flea re-infestation, it is important to treat all animals within the household with a flea treatment.

Do not use in dogs less than 8 weeks of age.
Read the entire label and follow the safety directions.

For humans:

It is not for human use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not swallow it.
Wash your hands after handling the product.
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Center.
If in the eyes, hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor.

Precautions

Consult your veterinarian before starting a heartworm prevention program.
Take your veterinarian’s advice before using it in breeding male dogs.

Storage & disposal

Do not open the inner pouch until ready for use.
Dispose of the empty container by wrapping it with paper and putting it in the garbage.
Store below 30°C (room temperature).
