If ticks are already present on your dog before treatment with the Seresto Collar, they may not be killed after the collar application and may remain attached and visible. Seresto’s protection against ticks starts at 48 hours after application. Remove ticks that are already present on your dog at the time of applying this collar.
Seresto Collar is water-resistant. It remains effective following a shampoo treatment, swimming, or after exposure to rain or sunlight. To maintain the eight-month duration of effectiveness, dogs must not be bathed more than once per month.
